Two outstanding features that put this application head and shoulder above the rest…the app is Adaptive "it can automatically increase the level of difficulty” and basic lessons are generated randomly so that you are not memorizing but rather learning. A simple and clean user interface makes it easy to get started and progress the tracking is well done and nicely integrated. 2016-06-14… oddly, the last update introduces crashes...

This is a great software for learning touch typing. I needed this since Im starting with DVORAK and researched a lot of tutors, and this was the best!

Excellent, but really could use more combined content (numbers, punctuation, and words) together in realistic typing documents. Otherwise, looks beautiful and is simple and elegant, wonderful stuff!

The key to mastery in any skill is practice, practice, practice. And that’s exactly what this program will give you, in spades. It’s not bloated with useless bells and whistles, 1990 graphics, and boring lectures. It simply presents you with practical typing exercise of increasing difficulty. The graphics are simple but more profession and modern than I’ve seen on most typing programs. This approach will not be for everyone. Some may prefer more varied activies along with games, likely younger children in particular. However, if you’re looking for an efficient may to learn or improve your typing, look no further.

the application is very good, simple and beautiful, but I cannot use it because there isnt the italian lenguage support. Please Update! ;)

This program is very good for finding your typing accuracy by giving you good exercises to help you improve your typing speed and accuracy. I havent taken a test like this in a while, so its refreshing to go back to one that actually works well and doesnt crash when you go above 100 words per minute. I average 80 words per minute, and when Im really trying I top 120. This program kept with me the whole way, and it even details where you need improvement by the specific key. If you are looking to improve your typing skills, you can easily download this and improve your skills for free.

I saw this and figured Id give it a try. Ive just spent the last 30 mins playing with it and I have to say that its really helpful in terms of finding where one can focus to improve. Its also kind of fun! Ive always known I try to type to fast and that results in having to backup a lot while Im typing to correct things. This marvelous little program confirmed that in spades. Im not a great typer, averaging around 40 to 50 words per minute. But this has really helped me understand that I actually need to slow down to improve my speed. Very counterintuititive, but true. I was getting upwards of 60 words per minute when I started taking my time. And I would not have known for sure but for this program. Also it helped me spot some letters I didnt even know I was weak on. Kudos to the develper for a job well done!

You should charge money for this.

I find it funny that now that Im typing this review Im thinking about typing in actuality. Anyway, moving on. The app is way more fun than I thought it would be. I didnt get it for myself, but for my little sisters, but it turns out that I love it. I usually score 44-60 WPM, but there is always the challenge to become better at it. All in all I think they should drop the price a little bit, because I got it free on a certain day and otherwise I wouldnt have bought it. Enjoy!

This app is wonderful in its simplicity and and effectiveness; a perfect compliment to the Apple experience. Ive used it for just a few weeks and Ive gone from being completely unable to type by touch to typing by touch exclusively; and my speed and proficiency are increasing as I continue to use this addictively fun application. The customer service is extraordinary as well. Following a power failure while using this app it ceased to work. Jarek patiently endured my ignorance and worked with me for days to get this app up and running again. I keep it on my dock and I play it every day. Thanks guys!

I have purchased a number of typing programs, looking for that one that fit the need just right. I can already properly type and dont need lots of fancy lessons that make the app hard to open and find a place to get a little practice in a spare two minutes. At the same time I was looking for a serious app that simulated real typing and not just single words falling down the screen and such. This app is perfect for just such a purpose. Im not sure it would be the best for the person who hasnt learned to touch type yet. However, for the person looking to improve speed and accuracy without all the clutter, it is perfect. The progress graphs are a great feature. I can open it up, type like mad for a few minutes, review the results, and then go back to what I should be doing. Very nice.

PROS: intuitive, elegant, lightweight, minimalist user interface CONS: drills on numbers, letters, words, phrases, and short paragraphs. Please add drills for symbols. Just as vital to learn as the rest.

I use this app almost everyday to keep my typing chops up. It is so simple and elegantly done and a breeze to use. I love the typewriter sounds but wish there was an option to disable the error sounds because they are quite jarring and can throw you off if you make a mistake. Other than that it is a great app!

This application will help a user determine what keys are being missed the most. But it doesnt tell you how to fix this errors. Example: i mix up H and K a lot. The app shows me that is the two keys I miss a lot. but doesnt really help me determine why or how to fix it. One thing app is great at is the repetition of exercises. You can practice practice practice for hours with this app and never have two exercises the same.

Easy to use app. However, there seems to be no way to disable the sidebar from popping up after every line is completed. Also, as we want to use it in a school environment, would be nice not have that Level drop down accessible to children and instead have the app automatically add keys. Change these and I will bump up the stars.
